Sorry all but you gona get this a lot from me,i like puting things in simple terms for people, getting started, for one moment dont laugh and think of your body as a car,now i dont no about you but if i was a car i would like to look drive and have the engine of a ferrari, some people are born like that they have the look and engine and drive like a ferrari, in sports for instant mike tyson, george best, muhammad ali all were born with the look engine and drove like the ferrari what a gift, other people not so lucky but still very lucky, they have the look of a ferrari and the engine but drive like a tractor.
Take a lean normal individual that can eat what they want and still look great but do things arse ways in the gym and are terrible at any given sport, then you have the very unlucky individual that has the look engine and drives like a lada, which kills me because the best part of people that looks like a lada are the most down to earth easy going people you will ever meet, sorry all just off topic for a second,i am not going to go deep into this just yet but when i say your engine i mean your metabolism, which means the speed we burn calories at rest like sitting driving just chillaxing, now the lucky ones have the fast metabolism and thats why they can eat what they want and not put on weight and the not so lucky ones could eat the very same way and be obese, how is that you ask because there metabolism has the speed of a turtle, and yes we can speed the metabolism up to the speed of the lucky and one way to do that is give your body the proper food more and that again , so whats my whole point you ask, well lets say your a lada and you put diesel in your petrol engine, you are not going to drive very well now are you. your just going to keep damaging your engine, now lets say you start to put petrol in the engine this baby is gona start to drive and once we get driving thats when we start to take the car to the body shop, what im getting at folks is that if you dont give your body the proper food it needs you are not going to feel good about yourself so your also gona look bad.
Altough there are exceptions. There are the lucky people that can put crap foods in their bodies and still look great but when it comes to sports they perform like a tractor.
I want to no who made this rule that if you look and feel like crap thats you looking and feeling like crap for life. They seem to think they have to stay like that?! No wonder there is such a high suicide rate in the world every body is going around feeling like dirt, thats not in my rule book! So my first few articles are gona be about nutrition and lifestyle management and not boxing or training like you would expect because i feel there is a need. i want to ensure that you are puting the proper juice in the motor, then you take your motor to the body shop, why? you ask; well i would say i was a lada that kept puting diesel in my car and always felt terrible, i had to drink to feel good about myself but feel even worse the next day,i trained myself into the ground and starved myself to make weight for boxing not very good for the engine and i could list a whole bunch of things i was doing arse ways but thats for later ,i knew i had to clean the car
and start to listen so i started to put petrol into my lada and start driving better than ever, i no some day i can be the ferrari because i believe in myself and as they say if you dont believe in yourself who else will but there is no reason why any individual cant be the ferrari.
The next article is going to be about the food label, you mite as well be looking in a ditch if you cant read a food label properly, it is unbelievable that well more than over half of our country can not read a food label properly, its no wonder the health experts are saying by 2030 over 60 percent of the country is going to be obese, thats a whole lot of people, i dont no about you but i dont want my future kids or grand kids please god going around like umpa lumpas, thank you for reading and i will be updating it soon.
Yours in Health and Fitness,
Robert Gorman CPT
